The armed robbery occurred around 10:25 p.m. at a Burger King at 1750 North Harlem Avenue, located near the intersection of North Harlem and West Bloomingdale Avenues.
Police said two African-American men armed with knives or razor blades, robbed the restaurant of an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone.
Both suspects are believed to be in their twenties.
At 10:30 p.m., a police officer announced over her radio that one suspect was in custody.
Authorities are still looking for the other offender. He was last seen wearing maroon and brown gym shoes. The crook was also carrying a “book bag”.
Update: 24-year-old Michael A. Davis from Bellwood, Illinois, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery. Police are still looking for the second suspect.
What the hell, they had knives/razors??? The manager couldn't throw french fry grease at them?

ReplyDeleteAny way, the two suspects hid in a washroom and waited for Burger King to close. Then, they ambushed the employees with knives. The geniuses had planned to use a taxi for a getaway car, but the driver drove off and left them! LMAO!
That's the best ending I've heard in a very long time!!!
