The incident happened January 19, 2011, around 11:50 p.m. outside the Neo Nightclub at 2350 North Clark Street in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The couple was standing outside the bar near Clark and Fullerton when they were approached by two African-American men. One man snatched the woman’s purse, while the other offender hit the male complainant in the face with a sharp metal object, possibly a knife.
After the assault and robbery, both offenders ran westbound on Fullerton.
One thief was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The stolen purse was described as a small green or olive-colored handbag. The female victim’s ID was inside.
This bar is in a very busy area and would take a lot of balls to rob people there. True, there is an alley way to actually get into the bar but this is by Broadway and only a few buildings down from Fullerton. People need to know that they are NOT SAFE in any AREA in this city anymore thanks to ghetto thugs like this. It's no wonder they don't have stores, bars, grocery stores or clothing stores,they'll rob you blind!

ReplyDeleteIf I go out to have a good time, I decided a few months ago that I'll be home by midnight, in one of Chicago's "better neighborhoods". In what is supposed to be the prime of my life, I'll stay home on a Saturday night (in one of Chicago's "better neighborhoods").
