I am in the process of starting a second blog where I can post random news stories, celebrity gossip, and political rants. Until it's up and running, you'll have to bear with me....
Embattled singer Chris Brown is at it again. He pissed off millions of people when he bopped karaoke singer, Rihanna, upset her already sizable head. Now he's attacking gays.
In a Twitter rant, Chris Brown went after Raz B of the defunct music group B2K, after Raz tweeted that Brown disrespected Rihanna. Brown shot back, ""n**ga you want attention! Grow up n**ga!!! D**k in da booty ass lil boy," referring to Raz B's claim that he was sexually molested by his manager.
Brown also made references to Raz being "butt plugged" and called the washed up singer a "homothug".
Chris, if you thought you couldn't sell records after you beat Rihanna, keep cutting up on the children and see what happens.
Now... back to our regularly scheduled program.
Anger ALWAYS brings out what is deep down in a person. Interesting when people use certain words against the african-american community, they scream prejudice but when it's used on a daily basis against the gay community, it's not a form of prejudice. These words are used EVERYDAY by all kinds of people including kids but hey, this is prejudice, it's free speech...yeah right. I can see this young man didn't learn his lesson.
ReplyDeletetowanda, Chris Brown needs to grow up. He needs a father. If he had a sensible adult in his life, maybe he wouldn't make so many dumb mistakes. Frankly, I'm starting to believe Brown is a bit self-destructive.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I agree with you on the double standards used when it comes to the N-WORD. African-American comedians often use racially insensitive words against whites, but when the tables are turned all hell breaks loose.
There is an old song by The Staple Singers called "Respect Yourself". My favorite line from that song is, "If you disrespect anybody that you run in to - How in the world do you think anybody's s'posed to respect you?"
Love the song..love the line. Wouldn't it be great if the world lived by those lones?!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he does need a father in his life, but NOT all children who have fathers have good ones. I know. My ex was awarded my children in 1978 simply because I was gay and that was a huge mistake on the courts part. I clearly was a better parent but only had my children over the summers. Not all parents were meant to be parents. I would have thought after all this kid has gone through, he would have understood the ramifications of his actions. Apologies only go so far. Actions speak louder than words. Sad that todays children seem to be lost.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Not all fathers are good fathers. I guess I should have made that distinction.
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting how young Brown is. Irrational and impulsive behavior is common with people in his age group. But if he had a strong parental figure, be they male or female, I think this kid could avoid a lot of mistakes.
I think Chris has great potential and I actually like him. I hope he "gets it" before it's to late. Hatred NEVER wins! Beating a women is not cool and spewing anti-gay comments, at anytime let alone in the 21st century, is also not cool and way antiquated. Life is what you make it. It's your choice everyday when you awake. Will it be a good day or a bad day?
