A woman was robbed at knifepoint and injured near the intersection of North Central Avenue and West Fulton Street, in Chicago’s Austin community.
The violent robbery occurred around 1:28 a.m.
Police say the woman sustained cuts or stab wounds to her fingers.
The thief was described as a Hispanic man in his twenties. He was wearing a navy blue hoodie and black pants, and fled the scene eastbound on Fulton Street.
