12:58 a.m. -- A man wearing a mask snatched a woman’s purse on the CTA Red Line. The robbery occurred when the train pulled into the Harrison/State Street subway at 608 S. State St.
The offender was described as an African-American man, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. After the crime, the thief exited the subway and fled eastbound toward Wabash Ave.

At 9:48 p.m., on October 31, 2010, we shared a newsflash regarding several teenagers, randomly assaulting people downtown. Most of the attacks occurred on Michigan Ave., between Jackson and Wabash. Three hours later, similar attacks were reported on State Street.
12:59 a.m. -- A group of teens: 3 African-American men and 2 African-American women, were spotted downtown randomly assaulting people on the street. All 5 suspects were wearing masks.
Police say the 2 female suspects attacked a woman on State Street and fled the crime scene via the Monroe/State Street, Red Line subway.
One of the women involved in the attack was described as 5’5” and wearing all black clothing. The other female suspect was described as 5'3" to 5'4", and was also dressed in all black.
