On October 31, 2010, Chicago's Uptown neighborhood was struck by a wave of gun violence.
At 1:22 a.m., Chicago News Report broke the story about the 1 a.m. shooting on the 4500 block of North Malden Street.
Police say a man in his twenties was shot in the leg. Apparently, shots were fired through several windows of the victim's apartment. For more details on 4500 N. Malden Street shooting, click HERE.
Around 5 p.m., three people were shot on the 4400 block of North Magnolia Ave. One of the shooting victims was a 13-year-old girl. According to multiple news sources, all three victims were taken to various hospitals in serious-to-critical condition.
At approximately 6 p.m., 35-year-old Marlos Canteberry was shot on the 900 block of West Wilson Ave. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
