UPDATE: The male victim was taken to Our Lady of Resurrection Medical Center, 5645 W. Addison, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. |
Around 2:33 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Little Rascals Bar & Grill at 4356 West Belmont, in Chicago’s Belmont-Cragin/Hermosa neighborhood.
Witnesses said someone in a black car pulled up to the bar and fired several shot through a window.
An officer on the scene said he was having a hard time getting more details from the witnesses, because most of them were intoxicated.
Reportedly, one man was bleeding from the face. However, it wasn’t clear if his injuries were the result of gunfire or flying glass.
Through a subsequent report, I have learned that the man who sustained facial injuries and was possibly shot in the face, is in critical condition and unable to talk.
