This morning, two Chicagoans were shot at different locations, and their shootings were less than one minute apart.
At 3:48 a.m., a man was shot on the 8300 block of South Drexel Ave., in Chicago’s Avalon Park neighborhood. According to police, the man was shot in the leg. A motive for the shooting was not provided.
The gunman was described as an African-American male, early twenties, 6-feet-tall, and very thin. He fled the scene in a tan vehicle.
Less than a minute later, at 3:49 a.m., someone was shot near the intersection of North Cambridge Ave. and West Locust Street, on Chicago‘s Near North Side. The victim was reportedly shot in a parking lot.
One shell casing was found at the scene.
