Police Recruit Struck by Car On Stevenson Expressway

12:45 a.m. -- A Good Samaritan trying to help a motorist involved in a single-car accident on the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) at Damen Ave., was hit by a car.

The man sustained non-life-threatening head injures.

According to CBS Chicago, the injured man is a Chicago police recruit. However, the man's name and age were not included in their article.

CBS also says one person was arrested for hitting the man.
