Man Shot in Uptown: 4400 N. Sheridan Rd.
At 2:37 a.m., gunshots were reported on the 4400 block of North Sheridan Rd. (near Montrose and Sheridan), in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
When officers arrived at 4405 N. Sheridan Rd., they confirmed a man had been shot. The victim was shot in the left buttock. According to the officer on the scene, the gunshot victim’s wound was non-life-threatening.
The shooters were described as two male Hispanics wearing white t-shirts. The offenders fled the scene in a silver sedan and were last seen headed southbound on Sheridan Rd.
The shooting victim was described as a 38-year-old African-American male who lives in Edgewater. He was taken to Illinois Masonic in good condition.
