This morning, around 2:57 .a.m., a man was robbed near the corner of Roosevelt Road and State Street, on Chicago's Near South Side.
The victim said he was approached by an African-American male, who assaulted him and took his wallet. Reportedly, the thief got away with $110.
The suspect was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. He fled the scene via the Roosevelt/State CTA Red Line subway station, at 1167 S. State Street.
That's so misleading to implicate the CTA.
ReplyDeleteFrom the story, it seems that the man was robbed on the street - not in the subway - and that the suspect fled using the CTA.
Blaming the CTA here (which you indirectly do with your headline and photo) is like blaming Ford when somebody leaves the scene of a crime in a Taurus.
Funny. I read the article and it make perfect sense to me.
