A juvenile with an extensive police record, is being held as a person of interest, in connection with the murder of Munchies store owner, Bassam “Ollie” Naoum.
When the suspect was arrested, police say he was carrying a gun. The teen has not been charged with Ollie's murder. Instead, he is being held for the illegal possession of a handgun.
Forensic test are being done to determine if the suspect's weapon was used to murder the beloved store owner.
Ollie's funeral will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, at 1220 S. 60th Ct. Services start at 10:30 a.m.
