Early this morning, a woman was attacked at the intersection of West Armitage Ave. and North Sawyer Ave. Police say the assault was sexual.
The crime occurred around 4:30 a.m.
The offender is a described as homeless, Hispanic man in his forties. He is approximated 5’5”, 200 lbs, with short black hair, and was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, with a gray sweatshirt underneath. He fled the scene southbound via a nearby alley.
As of 7 a.m., police were still looking for the suspect.
