Two of Clementi’s college classmates, who are also 18-years-old, reportedly taped Clementi having sex with a man in his dorm room, via a web cam, and aired the video in a chat room.
Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, the students who allegedly videotaped Clementi, could face up to 5 years in jail.
Dharun Ravi tried to get rid of evidence by deleting his Twitter account, but his efforts were too little, too late. Below, is a copy of Dharun's Twitter page, which clearly indicates that he knew about the videotaping and even encouraged others to watch the recording.
I couldn’t find an accessible Facebook page for Tyler Clementi, but I did locate a Tyler Clementi Memorial page. The page has been defaced with homophobic pictures with captions like, “I’m in hell for homosex” and “Videotaped sucking d*ck. Time to die.”
