Rogers Park man beaten with bat, robbed

A man was attacked with a baseball bat and robbed in Chicago’s Far North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood, said police.

Around 8:47 p.m. a woman contacted authorities after her husband was attacked near the 6700 block of North Ashland Avenue, near Ashland and North Shore Avenues.

Investigators said the incident happened around 8:20 p.m.

Citing police communications, two black males in their 20s -- one approximately six-feet tall and the other around 5’4” -- attacked the victim with a baseball bat.

When the victim was knocked to the ground, the muggers kicked the victim, said police.

The thieves stole the victim’s wallet, said authorities.

After the attack was over, the urban terrorists fled the scene in a gray BMW.

While a preliminary report indicated the victim was bleeding, it's unclear if the victim was seriously injured during the robbery.

  1. Only a darkie would commit robberies while driving a BMW.

Luckily baseball bat wielding thieves can be easily stopped by a single conceal carry holder. Hope they hurry up and process those applications!

The style of writing and obsession with concealed carry tell me one thing.

  3. "The presence of its diverse array of students and academics from Loyola University Chicago and Northwestern University, just a few miles to the north, has historically lent Rogers Park a high degree of liberalism and tolerance"......Wikipedia.

Sorry but I have limits on "diverse" and "tolerance". You should too.
