Before 18-year-old Broderick Epps was arrested for a cowardly and pathetic act of desperation, he was possibly the city's youngest business owner, according to information obtained by Chicago News Report.
On New Year's Day, January 1, 2014, Epps carjacked a woman on the 1100 block of West Ardmore in the city's Edgewater neighborhood, said police.
According to authorities, when Epps realized his female hostage didn't have any money, Epps forced the woman to drive to an undisclosed location, where he arranged to meet the victim's fiance; presumably, to negotiate a ransom.
Police spotted Epps walking with the victim and after a brief foot chase, Epps was arrested on the 6200 block of North Sheridan Road.
Citing the Chicago Tribune, Epps was charged with vehicular hijacking, vehicular invasion, and unlawful restraint.
Epps' bail was set at $500,000.00.
Information listed on FindTheCompany.com indicates a business called Queen V Enterprise I was founded in Epps' name in 2009; when the accused criminal was around 14-years-old.
The business' address is listed as 4202 Main Street, Skokie, Illinois 60076; which is Epps' home address.
FindTheCopany.com, who claims to get their information from sources like Dun & Bradstreet, Xignite, HG Data, and the US Federal Government, states at one point, Queen V Enterprise's estimated sales volume was $100,000.00.
A similar website lists the now-dissolved company's annual income at $500,000.00.
Note: Who runs a $500,000.00 a year business from their home, and what services or products are they selling? Mmm....

He likely lived in the Sloop prior to moving to LP. Uptown? Maybe he lived there after college. Maybe he just developed an obsession with it based on his seeming attraction to the open lifestyle Cappleman is living. Plus throw in Terkel having lived here and Brian's need to be seen as an anti gentrification anti racist warrior and it all adds up. To what it adds up that my friends is the question.
As for his wife I prefer to leave her out of this. Although I suspect he was the one who started mentioning her here.
How better to portray himself as an anti racist warrior for the common good than to point out that this blog is mentioning his wife. Or the comments in this blog to be specific.
