Cops: 2 stabbed at Rogers Park bar

Two people were stabbed in Chicago’s Far North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood, said police.

The stabbing occurred Sunday, June 17, 2012, around 11:57 p.m. at 7030 North Clark Street, near Clark and Greenleaf, said police.

According to online business records, the address belongs to a bar called Silvana.

Investigators said two males were found stabbed in the stomach at the North Clark Street address.

Although the motive for the stabbing wasn’t clear, the incident was classified as an aggravated battery with a knife.

Both men are said to be in “serious condition”.

At least one person is in police custody and authorities may be looking for two more suspects.

  2. Hmm, and I wonder why certain other people, the Norwegians, don't like it when the Swedes and Germans move in their neighborhood.
