Cops search for vehicle tied to Roseland neighborhood murder

Authorities are looking for a car that was taken during a July 6, 2012, homicide on Chicago's Far South Side.

According to a police news flash, a red Pontiac Sunfire with the license plate 736969 was stolen from 10602 South Langley Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood.

The occupants in the vehicle are considered armed and dangerous, said police.

Although this murder has yet to be mentioned by the mainstream media... the Chicago Tribune reported a Friday, 10 p.m. shooting on the same block.

According to the Tribune, a 20-year-old man was shot in the leg on the 10600 block of South Langley Avenue and taken to Roseland Hospital in good condition.

  2. Where I'm from, if anyone was still driving a Pontiac Sunfire (including the owner), it would be reason to call the police immediately.
