Chicago News Report found an online communication that indicates accused sex offender, 23-year-old Jonathan Kos Pascolini, pictured above, didn't expect to go to jail for his alleged crimes.
Pascolini, a homeless man from Mount Prospect, Illinois, has been charged with indecent solicitation of a child, unlawful grooming, and possession of child pornography, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Back in January 2012, the 23-year-old man befriended a 12-year-old girl on Facebook and over the course of several months, convinced the girl to send him nude pictures of herself, said authorities.
Eventually, Pascolini asked the girl to meet him for sex, said prosecutors.
Approximately four months into their online relationship, the 12-year-old girl's mother contacted the police... some time in April.
In a May 31, 2012, Facebook post, Pascolini didn't seem to take the matter seriously.
"wanna hear something funny?? my lawyer just sent me an email...basically put, i have more of a chance of going to jail for 6 months to a year, than i do of getting married in the next 2 weeks... well guess i need to get married," said the accused child predator.
Pasolini is being held in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bail... I wonder if he still thinks this is funny.

^ Went into COH ONCE with a friend. There was an A-frame sign blocking the door to the bathroom stating it was "closed for cleaning". I peeked inside, nobody was in there and it was clean. I used it. I figure, I'm paying for this "homo playhouse" somehow or another and I'm going to use the bathroom.

1) You assume this man is capable of rational thinking, and thus knew his actions were wrong and performed them anyway.
2) You assume this man will, at some point, understand the consequences of his actions and must hold himself accountable for these actions.
3) You assume this man is capable of holding himself accountable for his actions.
None of these points are true. I actually know this man. I attended junior high and high school with him. I can tell you from experience that this man is mentally unstable. This man was dismissed from my high school after freshman year to attend a school for adolescents with behavioral disorders. In fact, I recall that on the first day of high school, he, an obese freshman, instigated a fight with a senior on the football team. My entire relationship with this man consists of embarrassments due to these types of instigations. The only reason for which I am standing up for this man now is that I believe that he will not benefit from imprisonment. If his lawyer is any good he'll plead insanity.
I can tell you based on experience that if this man goes to jail, it will only be a matter of time before he instigates a fight with the wrong person, for which he could be beaten or killed. As a society, we need to help this man, not punish him. Punishment will do nothing for him.
He'll be forgiven, get hooked up with some local mental health agency, and soon be shooting pool, eating mac and cheese and watching pirates movies in a stinky dayroom in some community center somewhere.

I am not defending his actions, I'm defending the field of social work and the pejorative use of liberal. Since when do liberals have any negative impact on job creation? I think the pseudointellectual who posted that comment should take some time to educate themselves on the economics of corporate greed. What a foolish, ignorant comment to make.

This post wasn't about this case he is going through now, it was about another case in which the officers beat him up for a comment he made, but did that make the papers?? NO it didn't!! And as for the comment about him being obese and being a bitch or anything in high school, half the time he was in school he was doped up on medication because of people like you. The people who harassed him his entire life, or befriended him, and then decided to stab him in the back. These accusations are horseshit, i hope you all are happy about what you have said about him and done to him. I hope he beats this case, just so him and I can laugh in your petty faces.
