Robbery reported near Uptown’s Truman College

Monday, police were investigating a strong-arm robbery, about a block east of Truman College.

Around 7:59 p.m., investigators said a victim was robbed near the intersection of Wilson and Kenmore Avenues, in the city’s increasingly violent Uptown neighborhood.

Authorities described the offenders as three male blacks in their late teens.

Two of the suspects are said to be thin... while a third suspect was described as heavy set.

The portly offender was wearing a red and blue jersey, said police.

No further details are available.

  5. I used to live in this neighborhood when I was a little girl. Back in the late 70s when it was mostly White and Hispanic but still a rough neighborhood. I thought this neighborhood had gotten better????
