After the stabbing, both suspects fled the scene northbound on Clark Street.
As of 1:51 a.m., the offenders were still at large.
Police did not offer a motive for the North Side stabbing.
The started this "check your bag/stuff" policy at some of the places along Halsted St. recently. First thing I noticed in Chicago when arriving here is this strange, unsafe thing with all these people carrying bags, etc. in these bars.
ReplyDeleteThey're now too far gone for that "policy" to be effective.
It's a shame but I have a 48" "distance rule" around anybody I don't know here because of your damn knives.
The stabbing occurred outside the restaurant, while the employee was taking the garbage to the dumpster. - I was there when it happened.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, I hold my stance on that issue. And inside or outside, it's certainly not good PR for the business nor the "neighborhood".
ReplyDelete"No motive". Was he robbed? Doesn't seem like it. What was the employee involved in?
Anonymous.... I wasn't responding to your comment. I was responding to the article's implication that it occurred in the bar, which it did not. Now, to comment on your comment....... You know neither the victim nor the details. How ignorant to automatically imply that he somehow deserved to be stabbed. He was doing his job, and was randomly attacked.
ReplyDeleteThey must of been protecting their turf in the alleyways. The area from the dumpster all the way down to the makeshift toilet belongs to Eduardo, holmes...
ReplyDeleteWas the "employee" paying taxes (for police protection/safety) or was he "under the table"?
ReplyDeleteJust a question for Colm, Calm or whatever his name is. There are a few "upstanding pillars of society" in the "community" that haven't had their faces pasted all over the gay rags as of late. Don't get me started on that Sweet Occasions scandal. Just sayin'........
11:57am. He didn't deserve to be stabbed but there was a reason that he was ---- stabbed. This didn't "just happen". We want to know the reason. Your lust and desperation for him isn't an excuse to thwart the real issue. Drugs? Turf wars? Another love triangle like the stabbing in Lakeview (50 times!)?
ReplyDeletePlease take your SH*T back to where you came from "diversity". Some of us just want to relax and have a good time without all of the above.
wow! You guys are asking all the wrong questions? That's why you'll never get real answers.
