Brawl, fight at Wrigleyville bar temporarily shuts down Clark Street

Authorities closed several nearby intersections after a fight erupted outside a North Side nightclub, according to police dispatch.

Police said the incident took place in front of Exodus Lounge, 3477 North Clark Street, around 2:53 a.m.

An officer at the scene described the atmosphere outside the Wrigleyville neighborhood bar as “out of control”.

Northbound and southbound traffic near the popular nightclub was temporarily rerouted as officers dispersed the crowd.

At 3:02 a.m., police requested an ambulance at Addison and Clark Streets after a man reportedly “collapsed”.

It’s unclear if the man’s condition was related to the incident outside Exodus.

At 3:22 a.m., the temporarily closed intersections were reopened to traffic.

There were no reports of any arrests.

  1. With the Wild Hare gone, this bar is the one left with consistent violence on weekend nights ... what's different about this place? Any one thing that makes it stand out?

  2. Close down at 2am, plain and simple. The people can't handle anything more here.
