White police officers from Chicago Heights, Illinois, are accused of brutalizing several black men during a recent arrest.
According to a newly posted YouTube video, the incident occurred during the "early morning hours of April 7, 2012".
The narrative included in the footage claims the so-called victims were beaten and arrested for no apparent reason.
The man seen in the photographs was knocked to the ground, dragged several feet along the pavement face-down, and pepper sprayed, alleges the complainant.
The video also states that the so-called victims, as well as innocent bystanders, were called "ugly racial slurs" by the officers.
As with most videos of this nature, the recording starts after the confrontation is in full swing. So we have no idea what preceded this event.
Furthermore, there was nothing in the video to support the claim that the officers used racial slurs.
Blacks will say anything to embarrass the cops. That's why every totally-not-a-gang-member-just-a-normal-kid killed by a cop is on the honor roll, volunteers in the community, has a sick jump shot, and is a very promising rapper.

ReplyDeleteThat's a fair question, but I would say the officers had their attention where it needed to be - arresting and subduing the violent man on the ground who is disobeying their commands, and is an imminent threat to them. Unless the lady with the camera has a weapon or threatens or assaults them in some way, she is probably harmless (though irritating).
The problem is that the CH Police Department, along with the rest of the city of CH, is notoriously corrupt. Prior chiefs have gone to prison for being fronts for the dope man and you might want to check out whether the current chief was an unindicted co-conspirator in any past shenanigans.

There was a WSHH video last week where cops dragged a guy on his face through a building. That is probably where they got the "dragged on his face" story.
