Uptown: ‘Uncooperative’ victim robbed at gunpoint near Truman College?

A so-called robbery victim, whom police described as uncooperative, was allegedly robbed in broad daylight in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, said authorities.

At approximately 4:17 p.m., police were called to 1145 West Wilson Avenue after a male victim was robbed at gunpoint near Broadway and Wilson, according to police dispatch reports.

The victim said a male black offender put a gun in his face and robbed him, said police.

The gunman was described as bald with a closely trimmed mustache.

The suspect was wearing black pants and a black shirt.

After the alleged robbery, the thief jumped into a beige car and fled southbound on Broadway from Wilson, said investigators.

According to police communications, the so-called victim refused to file a police report.
