When Jeremy Lin greeted a so-called fan during the March 12, 2012, basketball game at the United Center in Chicago, Lin got a nasty surprise... and we mean nasty!
As Lin and his fellow teammates made their way onto the court, a young male white, approximately 13 or 14-years-old, set up a disgusting prank.
"Oh, my god! I just spit in my hand! Here we go! I'm hyperventilating!" said the boy.
When Lin ran past the teen, the boy stuck out his hand, gave Lin a high-five, and wiped the saliva on Lin's hand.
Although it's not uncommon for rival teams to face hostile fans of the opposition, it appears this incident may have been racially motivated.
In addition to labeling the footage "Racist White Kid Spit on Jeremy Lin in Chicago", the person who posted the video on YouTube included the word "chink" in the video's tags.
If you're slapping hands with a 13/14 year old, saliva should be the least of your worries.
