Rekia Boyd, woman shot by off-duty cop, once arrested for car burglary?

22-year-old Rekia Boyd may have been an innocent bystander the night off-duty Chicago police detective Dante Servin shot her in the head... but recent information suggests Boyd had a criminal history.

A link provided by a Chicago News Report reader lead us to a website featuring a 2011 mugshot of Rekia M. Boyd.

According to the information posted on mugshots.com, Boyd was arrested November 22, 2011, for criminal trespass to a vehicle.

Her bond was set at $100,000.

  2. Take another look at the screenshot. Do you see where is says "charges"? Criminal code 720 ILCS 5/21-2 = criminal trespass to vehicles.

  3. GD I used to know, see some beautiful classy black women with swagga. Almost untouchable but real. You won't find them in Shitcago though. Thier crooked wigs, sunflower seed spittin',southern roots, baby poppin' asses here put them all behind 40 years against the rest of America and the modern world.

P.S. Your "history" museum with the stolen '79 Monte Carlo on hydraulics......SUX.

  6. And THIS is in what way relevant? She IS dead! She WASN'T doing anything to provoke gunfire! ...and if recent reports are true, neither was the young man who supposedly "drew a gun (cell phone?) on the off duty officer.

    1. At least she didn't have to suffer through years of adult onset diabetes, which at 5'8", 200+, she was well on her way to.

  9. OMG,i cant believe out of all youhis, all you senseless people can talk about what this young might have weighed! That irrelevant to the situatio, what she did in her past has nothing to do with this young lady's death! She was unbanned at the time and there wasn't a crime being committed, what this lady and her family deserve is justice. All I can do is pray that they get just that!!!
