The victim had quite a story to tell.
Around 1:12 a.m., someone, presumably an employee, dialed 911 from the Boystown, Lakeview neighborhood Walgreens at 3201 North Broadway, near Broadway and Belmont.
According to police dispatch, a 52-year-old man was bleeding from the head.
Investigators said the victim was attacked by 4 to 17 offenders.
One attacker was described as 8-feet-tall… a second offender was said to be a 6-foot-tall 80 to 89-year-old man driving a black Dodge Magnum.
Furthermore, the victim claims he was beaten on the 7900 block of South Vincennes, said police.
Authorities said, according to the victim, the muggers stole $48.
Ambulance 6 transported the patient to St. Joseph’s Hospital in unknown condition.
OPINION: Because of their disorganized thoughts, victims with severe psychiatric issues have a difficult time explaining traumatic events. Although Chicago News Report has no idea if this victim has mental health issues, it sounds like he is having a hard time separating fact from fiction.
We believe someone attacked him and robbed him, but the victim lacks the mental capacity to explain what happened.
That Walgreens is nothing but a sideshow, including most of the employees. You can be sure there will be an "incident" at least every other time visiting. Actually that entire intersection is trouble.
ReplyDeleteOnce one of those bat shit crazay "homeless" people came walking through the door screaching and hollering about something, flailing around. These two Courtneys in line thought it was the cutest thing and one stated she "got her entertainment for the night". I told her it's not "entertaining" when one of them goes off even further and bloodies someone - and it does happen.
It's not even sad. It's pathetic. It's pathetic that will all the taxes being paid in this corrupt city, county and state that these people aren't properly cared for.
And for the record, there is one of those flat-out crazay MFr's that frequents or lives in that area that is about "8 feet tall". It's only a matter of time before he kills somebody. He frequently blurts out that's what he intends to do.

White dirty trash in this neighborhood needs to go. All the crazy white ugly gays who think they are so cute need a reality check that they are nothing but a bunch of rejects in society. So much white trash in this city,this is a new thing.....they're all moving here from Wisconsin, Kentucky,and Ohio. These trailer park trash come here because they think it's cool to come to the big city. They walk around like drag queens in the corn fields. Then you have the gross suburban white trash driving their mustangs and charges thinking they are so cool. They act like a bunch of red necks drinking their budweisers....I'd rather hangout with a bunch of brothas, at least they're funny. The ugly white trash women with their hideous cheap outfits, fake orange tans, fake oversized boobs, unnatural blonde hair come here looking like prostitutes. They walk around acting stupid and pretty much begging to be robbed. You can all sit here and talk about the Blacks but you also need to recognize that White trash has been a white trash invasion over the past 8 years. Most of the decent whites have moved to Colorado, NY,and Seattle! Before you talk about Blacks, recognize that Whites have more than a fair share of worthless trash!
