VIDEO: Crowd boos Chicago cops after they shutdown Michigan Ave. St. Patrick's Day 'show'

Here's another Chicago St. Patrick's Day highlight:

When a group of street performers were ordered to close up shop near Michigan and Randolph, the large crowd that was gathered to watch the spectacle, booed and jeered the responding officers.

One onlooker said something that sounded like, "we should support them".

The so-called performance artists, who frequent the area during the warmer months, claim they are hustling for "college tuition".

  3. "College tuition"...riiiight.

Good for the cops...We don't need these chimpouts on the streets. If I want to see monkeys acting like fools, I go to Lincoln Park Zoo where they are behind bars where they belong.

  4. I walked by this band that day, they were awful. Noise pollution at its worst and I'm a metal-head.

  8. Notice its likely the tourists that are booing the cops, if they only knew that while this crew is performing for "College Tuition" their friends are looking for easy marks to steal the tourists wallets and purses as their guard is down.
