At 9:08 p.m., shots were fired near the intersection of Clark and Touhy.
When authorities arrived, they found the shooting victim in an alley behind 1755 West Chase Avenue.
According to a responding officer, the shooting victim was struck at least once, in the lower back.
Witnesses described the shooter as a male black, 17 to 18-years-old, with a goatee.
After the shooting, the gunman fled the scene in a red vehicle with a partial license plate of K7780, according to eyewitnesses.
A “skinny white girl” was sitting in the passenger seat of the getaway vehicle, said investigators.

UPDATE: Despite initial reports that the shooter fled in a red vehicle, police were interviewing the owner of a green Jeep Cherokee parked in a lot across the street from St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois... the same hospital where the victim is being treated for his injuries.
According to one source, the Jeep's license plate is similar to the partial plate information provided by witnesses at the crime scene.
I wonder what the skinny white girl's father thinks of this? Let me take a wild guess...he's not living in the home with her.

I was on the EL today and this black guy sat next to me. Dude passed out and his legs was moving in his sleep. I think he was dreamin of running from the cops..

ReplyDeleteEveryone write your reps/ senators/ and the republicans tell them the horrors of subsidised housing. Tell them of the failure of subsidised housing, how the people were supposed to assimilate into the rea but instead they turned it into the area they left. Tell them u want the HUD budget cut so that there is only enough for seniors,vets and people with mental and physical disabilities. This will force the CHA to reduce the number of vouchers and sell their buildings to private companies. The baby mamas who are the beneficiaries of subsidised housing have criminal relatives and boyfriends that target the area and they also live with them.
ReplyDeleteSection 8 and subsidised housing is funded federally not through the city(for those who didn't know). SO COMPLAINING TO THE CITY IS A WASTE OF TIME.
Everytime there is a budget battle contact them and tell them to cut the HUD BUDGET.
Support Paul Ryan's budget to cut food stamps and other welfare programs that promotes over breeding by lowincome, low intelligence uneducated men and women who produce the spawn who do all the wyldings and crime.
