The incident occurred around 8:37 p.m. at 6935 North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Morse, said police.
The address belongs to Leona’s Restaurant.
Authorities did not say if the robbery happened inside or outside of the Rogers Park business.
The suspect is a thin male black, about 5’6”... he was wearing a red shirt or a red hooded sweat shirt.
The thief stole $60.00 and was last seen running northbound from Leona's, then eastbound toward Lake Michigan, said police.

In the 86 year period between 1882 and 1968, there were 3,446 blacks (and 1,297 whites) lynched.
By comparison, in just the 10 year period between 1995 and 2005, blacks murdered 3,966 whites.
Many blacks appear to want to lynch George Zimmerman, but that apparently does not bother you.
You liberals like to pretend that you are enlightened, wise and tolerant but the truth is that you are ignorant, deluded, intolerant, vicious hypocrites.
@ Castellan, Ive come to the exact same conclusion about the liberals which is why I no longer subscibe to their often misguided philosophies.
