The incident occurred in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the 7000 block of North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Greenleaf, around 2:48 p.m., said police.
According to investigators, the intruder ran out the back door when the woman screamed.
The suspect is a male black in his 30s, 5’11”, and 175 pounds.
The offender was wearing a black jacket, black pants, a black hat, and he had a “telephone earpiece” in one of his ears.
At the time of this report, it was unclear if the burglar forced his way into the North Side apartment, or if he gained access through an unlocked door.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no reason to exempt d/v from same-gender relationships whether intimate or platonic.
The shameful aspect of this tragic occurence is that it brings out so many hateful comments from ignorant people who hide behind the cloak of anonymity.
@ 5:48am Actually Im a gay man trapped in a womans body. I first started noticing this when I developed my penchant for cashmere sweaters, Bombay furniture, and young Latino boys.

ReplyDeleteThe REAL promlem to me is we could go to the South side, back to Africa or even a zoo and still would have to deal with you, thinking your devilish comments actually count - maybe you should go to the suburbs and STAY, create a place that doesn't build you up by putting other people down and everyone will be smiling while their 12 year old is in rehard because of their heroine addiction.
