  1. 53 and 25 years of age as reported. The 25 younger one is dead. As you do, Chicago-style. Those coffee shop and restaurant windows are filled with middle aged men and young Asians/Mexicans. Don't even have to look to notice this. Very unhealthy in many aspects. Makes my skin crawl. Have to shoo them away. Western European guys over 30 don't even acknowledge each other here. Sickening. What shame Chicago brings upon decent gay men.

  2. And your damn knives here. That's why I have a '48" rule'. If I don't know you, stay back at least 48". 20+ years "out" and never heard of this crap in Detroit - ever.

  8. Domestic violence occurs in every community and among all people both gay and breeder alike.
No reason to exempt same-gender relationships from d/v whether intimate or platonic.
The shameful aspect of this tragic occurence is that it brings forth so many hateful comments from ignorant people who hide behind a cloak of anonymity.

  9. It is so sad that people have to show their close minded, ignorant thoughts just to make themselves feel superior. If you have a problem with someone else way of life then just dont comment. Lil John was loved by many and his family im sure is grief stricken just like his friends are. They should have this time to reflect on his life not defend ignorant people who can not even show their names. RIP Lil John. You will be missed! Im glad I had the pleasure of working and talking with you. ~Amie

  10. If we gays are to perpetrate violence, lets aim it at the right people. Our new unwanted 'visitors' (ghetto yoofs) deserve this kind of treatment; not our own.

  11. Dear Anonymous written above me,
How about the community ohhhhh I dunno?? Not aim violence at anyone? These "ghetto yoofs" as you so racistly call them, come from the south side and other neighborhoods because their own neighbords discriminate against them because of their sexuality and Boystown is the only neighborhood they feel safe. As a part of the community, a friend of little John and a all around well mannered and bright indivisual, i'd suggest for peace among all people that are known and are still known as 2nd class citizens in this country. Equality is a fight amongst all who are willing to stand.
    RIP lil John
    You will be missed.

  12. ^The "ghetto yoofs" who are so discriminated against on the southside might be more welcome in boystown if they werent running around mugging folk.

  13. We call 911 whenever we see nigs on our street. They don't belong here. Then they scatter like cockroaches as soon as a cop car shows up.

  14. Ask any psychologist. Relationships with that much of an age difference (whether gay or straight) are unhealthy. Case closed. "Clothing designer"? Please. All these unemployed movie stars and soon to be unemployed AA flight attendants that think they're movie stars here need to get real as well.

Anyway, thanks for exposing this crap Tim. Proving what I already know.

  15. It is disgraceful that people take time to write racist and inappropriate comments after the tragic loss of such a good human being. If you did not know either of these men, shut it up! Focus on your own depraved shallow lives and figure out how to become a productive member of society. What is your education, how much do you make, and more imporatantly who loves you and who do you love? And, you sit in judgement?

  16. Lil John was a great guy and this situation is just so sad. The people saying ugly, nasty things should really think about finding something better to do w their time bc this guy was a son, a friend, and a bright individual. I feel lucky to have known him.

  18. this comment stream is kind of disgusting. Pity for the man that died, and the tragedy of the one who killed him. As for the "ghetto" comment, you're a racist douche and I'm glad I don't know you, dude.
