Marlow S. Land: Man charged with Evanston rape, rode bike on O'Hare runway in 2010?

24-year-old Marlow S. Land, the suspect charged in the March 5, 2012 rape in Evanston, Illinois, has a familiar name.

The 24-year-old man from the 200 block of North Latrobe Avenue is accused of raping a 19-year-old girl.

The alleged sexual assault occurred Monday, around 1:55 p.m., on the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue, said Evanston police.

According to investigators, Land was riding on a CTA bus with the victim when he followed her off the bus, forced her between two houses, and raped her in broad daylight.

Moments after the assault was reported, Land was apprehended on the 1600 block of Church Street.

The victim did not sustain any major physical injuries, according to various news reports.

The West Side, Austin neighborhood man has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, reports CBS Chicago News.

While researching this story, Chicago News Report noticed that a suspect with the same name, was arrested back in October 2010.

Marlow Sahron Land, Jr., who was 22-years-old at the time, was arrested for allegedly riding his bike on an O'Hare Airport runway and trying to enter a terminal security door.

We can't say for sure that the Evanston rape suspect and the O'Hare Airport offender are the same person... but the men share the same first and last name, the same middle initial, and appear to be the same age.
