Cops: Man injured during Ravenswood robbery

A man was wounded during a robbery in Chicago’s Lincoln Square, Ravenswood neighborhood, said police.

Authorities said two suspects approached the victim near the 4800 block of North California Avenue, near California and Gunnison, around 4 a.m.

During the confrontation, the victim was thrown on the ground in the snow and sustained facial injuries, said police.

The suspects were described as two male whites in their 20s.

Both offenders were wearing black jackets and black pants, said police.

According to investigators, the crooks also had black masks or scarves partially covering their faces.

The thieves stole the victim’s bag and his cell phone, said police.

At the time of this report, the bandits were still at large.

  2. Well, they said the Asian dudes that jumped that Chinese kid in bridgeport were white too...

    Strange how that story died down after it was discovered it was an Asian vs. Asian crime...

  3. What the hell are people doing walking around alone at 4 AM? Not blaming the victim here, but people need to take some common sense precautions.
