At approximately 6:45 p.m., police responded to a “person with a gun call” at Eastwood Towers, a high rise at 4640 North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Eastwood.
According to police dispatch, the suspect, whom police identified as Andre Goodwill, was armed with a gun.
Investigators described Mr. Goodwill as a male black with long braids, wearing a black and white Pelle Pelle jacket, dark blue jeans, and black Pelle Pelle boots.
Goodwill reportedly fled the scene with his brother, Timothy Thomas, in a silver or gray Ford Taurus, said police.
The suspect allegedly struck his girlfriend on the head with a closed fist, according to police communications.
A female officer reportedly observed swelling on the female complainant’s forehead.
At the time of this report, there was no indication any of the female complainant’s family members were injured.
Anyone with information on Mr. Goodwill’s whereabouts, should contact the police.

He slugged his girlfriend and now we have to spend our resources getting involved in their little love spat. The supposed "girlfriend" is probably just as bad as he is. It's just the way ghetto folks show their affection for each other, that's all.
