Woman’s purse, Aldi bag snatched in Uptown

A senior citizen’s purse and her Aldi shopping bag were snatched on an Uptown, Chicago neighborhood street, said police.

Around 7:25 p.m., a 65-year-old woman’s belongings were stolen on the 900 block of West Argyle Street.

The offender was described as a short, stocky male black wearing a plaid jacket and dark-colored pants.

The cowardly punk was last seen running northbound on Marine Drive from Argyle Street.

  1. I hadn't been to Big Chicks in over a year. I went there last month and will never, ever, ever go to that neighborhood nor that place again. Cabs were virtually non-existent at 11:00pm. Telling. I've never asked a bartender to get me a cab before but did. Luckily a guy was being dropped off by one about 5 mins. later and I jumped in. And non-punks, White guys need to be warned. I was chased, harrassed while waiting for a cab by a thug calling me a "serial killer" and other racial slurs. F Shitcago.

    Warning!

  11. Seriously? This worthless waste of space spook is robbing elderly people? I hope next time, he approaches the wrong person and that karma will catch up to him. Poor lady, hope she has relatives to help her get her groceries.
