Around 9:28 p.m., a Domino’s pizza driver was mugged on the 4400 block of North Greenview Avenue, near Greenview and Montrose, said police.
Investigators said four suspects, one of them armed with a gun and wearing a black ski mask, stole $25, a cell phone, and a Domino’s pizza bag from the driver.
The offenders, who were described as male blacks in their 20s, apparently fled the scene on foot.
According to preliminary information, some of the suspects were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and some of them were wearing red hooded sweatshirts.
After the robbery, the delivery driver went back to the store and called authorities.
Police spoke to someone at the address where the crime occurred, but according to an investigating officer, no one at the North Greenview Avenue address ordered a pizza.
At 10:13 p.m., police stopped several subjects in a vehicle on the 2600 block of West Irving Park.
A responding officer asked for more details regarding the pizza deliver robbery.
As of 10:25 p.m., it was unclear if any arrests were made.
