A South Side Chicago man accused of shooting a teenager at an Englewood neighborhood gas station is hood rich; and a pending court case involving drug charges suggests he didn't earn his cheddar flipping burgers.
23-year-old Terry Pruitt was arrested Tuesday, December 27, 2011, after police saw him shoot a 19-year-old man in the shoulder at close range at the Marathon gas station at 7101 South Ashland Avenue, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Pruitt was apprehended after a brief car chase that resulted in the injury of two Chicago police officers, said authorities.
In addition to allegedly shooting someone, the apparent Lil' Wayne wannabe has been charged with aggravated assault on police officers and illegal weapons possession, said authorities.
According to this Facebook photo, posted May 2010, Pruitt shouldn't have any trouble paying his bail.
That is, if he didn't blow all his money on haircare products, bullets, and 40 ounces.
