According to police dispatch, the aggravated robbery occurred around 11:06 a.m. near the 1900 block of South State Street.
A male black, believed to be in his 20s, pushed the victim against a fence and tried to hit him, said dispatch.
The offender is approximately 5’11” with a dark complexion and short hair.
The suspect was wearing a black pea coat or dress coat, black slacks, and black, shiny dress shoes.
As the offender fled the scene eastbound on West Cullerton Street, he almost slipped and fell, said police.
At the time of this report, the robber was still at large.

Theres a big difference between using the bus tracker app to see where the bus is at for about 10 seconds and texting a whole conversation or reading blogs on your phone as I bet most people who have their phones do.

The article says both his ipad and phone was stolen. So, let's assume he kinda stupid and was checking the bus tracker on his ipad and he wasn't using his phone - but they still got the phone anyway!
ReplyDeleteI saw a young lady get her phone snatched right out of her hand at the Brown Line Sedgwick station at about 6:00pm on a weekend. I saw her. She had it out for less than "10 seconds". That young lady should be able to use her phone. They are a necessity these days, not a toy and we should be able to use them with becoming a victim and being blamed.
You know how banks use exploding paint pellets in money in case it's stolen? Someone should invent an exploding cellphone which covers the nigger with red paint when he steals it and tries to turn it on.
