Friday, around 1:45 a.m., a robbery was reported near the intersection of West Grand Avenue and North Orleans Street.
According to police dispatch, two male blacks were involved in the alleged crime.
One offender is believed to be in his mid-twenties, approximately 5'10", with a dark complexion.
After the robbery, the suspects jumped into a gray, four-door Honda, said police.
Investigators said the offending vehicle is registered to an address on the 6300 block of North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and North Shore.
No further details are available.
6300 Sheridan is an Edgewater address, not a Rogers Park one.
ReplyDeleteOne more on my list in an attempt to get the name of the police district changed from Rogers Park to Far North.
We get the blame for everything that happens in Edgewater north of Thorndale/Elmdale/Peterson.
Rogers Park (where's the park? - I never got that "park" thing in Chicago). They hyped this mess as "the most diverse place in the U.S. (both locals and Wikipedia). Have it. I got somebody's name and inaccurate account of a celeb removed from Wikipedia with a few keystrokes and my hometown blocked Wikipedia from their schools internet for inaccuracies and lack of fact.
ReplyDeleteThat lil' strip of hopefulness called "Andersonville" now stretches to the Winthrop/Kenmore "corridor" per real estate/leasing agents and newbies from Wisconsin.
Edgewater, Rogers Park, Humbolt Park, Lakeview East, Uptown, K'ville, Wild 100's....what the difference? Keep trying Chicago. I do applaud your sense of "hope" and change. Realism does not = negativity nor pessimism however.
