According to investigators, the strong arm robbery happened around 3:50 a.m. on the 900 block of West Diversey Parkway, near Diversey and Wilton.
Authorities said three male blacks beat the victim and stole his cell phone and several hundred dollars.
One offender was wearing a hooded sweatshirt of an unspecified color with stripes on the sleeves, the second suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and the third culprit was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
After the robbery, the injured victim, who was reportedly bleeding, went to the 7-Eleven at 958 West Diversey and asked a store clerk to call the police.
At the time of this report, the thieves were still at large.

ReplyDeleteThere are at least 4 cameras at that station (I would imagine more than that, actually), so where are the photos and video of these scumbags?! The cops need to release that. Also, this of course was nowhere on the Trib.
