Foreclosures: Family faces eviction day after Thanksgiving, Rogers Park woman may lose home in December

Arturo Martinez, Remedios Sanchez, and Maria Dolores Calvillo are running out of time... but you may still be able to help.

On November 25, the day after Thanksgiving, Martinez and Sanchez are scheduled to be evicted from their Albany Park neighborhood home of 25 years.

Calvillo is set to lose her Rogers Park home on December 5th. She has lived in her house for 12 years.

If you'd like to respectfully pressure the banks into giving these citizens a second chance, watch the videos to see how you can get involved.

VIDEO NARRATIVE: Call bank lawyer Adam Codilis at Codilis & Associates, 630-794-5300 extension 2377. Tell him to work with Arturo Martinez and Remedios Sanchez instead of evicting them Thanksgiving weekend.

VIDEO NARRATIVE: Call bank lawyers Pierce and Associates at 312-346-9088. Dial extension 3, then extension 5. Tell them to work with Maria Dolores Calvillo instead of auctioning off her home. Leave a message if no one picks up.

  1. Are they "undocumented" or is their "stated income" on their "liar loan" mortgage undocumented? These questions need to be answered first before anymore "donations" are considered for these people.

  2. I smell a sanctuary city rat in this story someplace.

  3. Unfortunately the bank lawyers, are just that bank lawyers, they work for the bank, not the people getting evicted.
