VIDEO: Security camera catches thieves stealing from church

If you think outdoor security lights are enough to deter criminals, watching this video might change your mind.

A security camera at a West Englewood neighborhood church caught two thieves stealing what appears to be copper wires.

According to the video, the theft occurred March 29, 2011, but the footage was posted on YouTube on October 9, 2011.

Chicago News Report contacted the video's owner for the church's address, but so far, our emails have not been returned.

According to our own investigation, the crime occurred at the West Englewood United Methodist Church at 2000 West 68th Street, on Chicago's South Side.

  4. The crooks obviously don't like security lights. He shuts them off then comes back. I wish there would have been a rottweiler on the other side to bite and maul their asses!
