The victim was leaving his apartment on the 3300 block of North Sheffield Avenue, near Sheffield and Roscoe, when three white males forced their way into his apartment, said police.
One intruder was wearing a pair of brass knuckles.
The armed assailant beat the victim in the head and face, leaving several deep cuts, said police.
According to an officer at the scene, some of the victim’s teeth were knocked out during the assault.
Somehow, the victim managed to take the brass knuckles away from his attacker; forcing the offenders to flee the scene through the apartment’s back door.
One attacker has blond hair and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket.
An ambulance took the victim to a local hospital.
The offenders flee the scene when a pair of brass knuckles was taken away? Either they are pussies or someone is lying. My guess is they fled after taking whatever they came for (most likely drugs). I have 0 evidence, but I would bet the victim was a dealer or user with a big stash.
