Lakeview: Drag queen robs man at knifepoint

According to authorities, a transgender female, or a man dressed like a woman, robbed a male victim at knifepoint in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.

The strong arm robbery occurred at approximately 5:23 a.m. at 3046 North Halsted Street, near Halsted and Barry.

There is a Walgreens at that location.

Based on preliminary information, it appears the offender forced the victim to withdraw a large amount of money from an ATM at the aforementioned address.

The robber is a male black, about 5’6”, and 110 to 150 pounds.

He was wearing black short pants, a black shirt, and a brown wig.

Investigators said the thief has a tattoo on his right leg.

After the robbery, the crook fled the scene in an unknown direction.

  1. 5'6" and the victim was "forced" (with just a knife, no less). They do have the ideal area to prey on then.

  2. Bet attendance is way down for the halloween parade Monday night. We're not going. Made the same call for the Pride parade because we knew there would be trouble and sure enough, there was plenty. Same thing is going to happen for this parade. Too bad the ghetto thugs have to ruin it for EVERYONE!

  3. I was also mugged by 2 people of a similar description on Sunday the 16th. No weapons were used. They took my phone, and I chased them down and got it back. If you feel threatened immediately run toward other people.
