Investigators said the elderly customer’s purse was taken from the coffee shop at 932 North Rush Street, in between Walton and Oak Streets.
The crooks were described as two black women.
The woman who actually took the purse has a “heavy” build and was last seen wearing a black wig or weave, with blond or white streaks in the front.
The portly thief and her accomplice, were last seen trotting southbound on Rush Street.
At 8:06 p.m., a citizen found a woman's purse at the intersection of LaSalle and Oak Streets.
It's unclear if the purse belongs to the victim at Starbucks.

ReplyDeleteEver watch some of those travel documentaries, in countries where primates live on the fringes of the city/village/town? These naughty little monkeys sneak up and steal something and scamper away quickly, if they could the monkeys would go "tee hee" the whole way.
This sort of scene also happens everyday all across Chicagoland, except that it's only people involved. Not always black people, but always somebody connected to the drug trade, buyer or seller. I am not calling black people monkeys per se, but I am noting the similarity between thieving drug addicts of all colors and creeds and the naughty klepto primates on those shows. I've seen plenty of white people snatch and run, too.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug, huh?
You can show me all the afterschool specials you want, all the commercials, all the toy-company sponsored children's cartoons in my youth showing us that in fact, all people enrich our lives. We just need to understand their culture. All cultures on Earth have something positive to contribute to society.
Then I step outside and see the truth. Not everybody who walks the Earth really serves any vital function to society, except maybe to keep the poverty pimps in business. More and more people are being born and simply just being warehoused in ghettos like Uptown and keep the social workers busy, they don't read, they don't write, they don't create art, they know virtually nothing of the world around them save for the place they get their booze and smokes and free food, they don't even show kindness to their children or animals, they keep the activists pretty busy though, working hard to get more housing and more money so there can be even more of these unproductive people brought into the world.
To hell bringing jobs back to America and educating our people, teaching them to end the cycle of dysfunction and abuse.
Many of them have never held a job, they went straight from their single mother's apartment to their own slumlord tenement coasting on a welfare check.
Just a bit ago I came back from the store and every other word coming from the two thuggy gentleman walking behind me was m-f'er. Their skin color didn't matter to me, only their demeanor.
Nah, don't wanna be friends with them. Next!
