  1. WTF! She KNEW the name of "one of her attackers?" Great descriptions as well. Was she "working"?
    This sounds very suspicious.

  2. FYI. There's a lot police activity in the area. They seem to be focused on an alley near the address in this report. Good job CNR!

  3. I remember reading a rape story a long time ago where one of the rapists called the name of another rapist during the attack. Maybe that's how she got the name. The other option is she knew one of them and had no idea what was about to happen.

  4. Anonymous@11:10, well, that's possible but she still gave descriptions of all 3 offenders that are the BEST descriptions I have ever seen given. Either she has a photographic memory or spent a little time with them. I'm just saying this sounds suspicious. I'm hoping she didn't know any of them though and if she was indeed attacked, they catch the ghetto thugs quickly!

  5. Towanda - Unfortunately most rapes are cases where the victim knows her/his attacker(s). Date rape is the most common. Many years ago, society believed that date rape was the fault of the victim. I certainly hope that we do not return to those days. If a woman knows a man and agrees to go out with him, it does not mean that she is consenting to have sex with him. If a man tries to pressure a woman for sex and she says no, the man does not then have the right to rape her. Let's please be very clear about that. Thank you.

  6. Anonymous@5:43,
I get what you're saying and understand it as well. I'm just saying this sounded a bit suspicious to me. How many times have you seen such a descriptive description? Even when we're out with friends, by the end of the day, I'm not sure I would be able to describe what they had on in the manner this lady described her attackers. I'd be curious to know how many people could do that.

  7. Stop blaming the victim. You're disgusting.

  8. Anonymous@3:31,
    I'm not blaming the victim.

" I'm just saying this sounds suspicious. I'm hoping she didn't know any of them though and if she was indeed attacked, they catch the ghetto thugs quickly!"

What part of this didn't you understand? In that area, there are a lot of gangs and working girls/boys. Generally, when a woman is rapped/attacked, even after saying "NO", she's bruised or beat up in the attack. I saw nothing in this article that indicated that. Plus it said "possibly sexually assaulted". The description is what gave me pause. It just seemed too precise to me. Sorry if that seems like I'm blaming the victim to you. It's also disgusting for someone to cry rape when they weren't...
