At approximately 12:48 a.m., a shooting was reported on the 1500 block West Jonquil Terrace, near Jonquil and Bosworth Avenue in Rogers Park.
Police confirmed the shooting around 12:51 a.m.
According to an officer at the scene, the shooting victim, a black male, was shot in the chest.
Witnesses saw a black man wearing a black doo-rag, a large white T-shirt with black and red print resembling “eagle wings” on it, and black pants, flee the scene westbound.
However, eyewitnesses weren’t sure if the man in the doo-rag was shooter.

ReplyDeleteif anyone knows more info about this shooting please respond.. there is an *award* for information.
ReplyDeleteBut Rogers "Park" touts itself as the "most diverse place in America". I'll take Palmer Woods in Detroit. At least the homes are considered to be the benchmark of exquisite architecture in the entire country and they have a "neighborhood patrol". This just does NOT happen there!
ReplyDeleteLet's see....tudor mansion with a marble basement floor or crapbox "condo" with granite counter tops and gunfire. It's a no-brainer.
