Attempted robbery near Loyola University Lake Shore Campus

According to police dispatch, an officer was flagged down near Loyola University’s Lake Shore Campus, around 4:19 a.m.

The officer said a citizen was nearly robbed on the 1100 block of West Albion Avenue, near Albion and Winthrop.

Based on the given location, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Loyola Hall.

The victim was approached by three male whites and another male, who may be Hispanic or Pakistani, said police.

Investigators said the suspects, who are between 18 to 20-years-old, were wearing blue jeans.

One offender had a white T-shirt wrapped around his head, said a responding officer.

  5. Meanwhile.....latino "cat-fight" at Hollywood Beach. It was quelled properly (like I've seen in the worst parts of Detroit). The 20-something heifer with her "boys" bragging about moving to L.A. and "establishing" herself in the movie business was a hoot. Who needs cable TV?

    The open canisters permitted are your problem, Chicago. It's beyond comical here.
