Man found floating in Diversey Harbor: Dead

Around 3 a.m., security at Diversey Harbor reported a body floating in the water.

The body was located underneath a bridge on the 2400 block of North Lake Shore Driver, near Lake Shore Drive and West Fullerton Parkway.

The body was pulled from the harbor around 3:16 a.m.

At approximately 3:27 a.m. investigators found a shopping cart on the west side of the bridge.

The cart contained miscellaneous items, including a pair of shoes, said police.

No further details are available.
